FAQs

Working with Clients

Q.Why does Diagnostics only work with clients from the Northeast?

A.Working with a very specific client and candidate base allows us to deliver a very specialized and unique level of service, at a very affordable price.

Q.Can Diagnostics help me decide if either a PA or APRN is right for my practice?

A.Yes. An APRN is not the same as a PA, and vice versa. Diagnostics understands the abilities and strengths of each practitioner. We help our clients understand the distinctions so they can make informed decisions on who best to hire.

Q.Can Diagnostics tell me what salary I should pay a PA or APRN?

A.Yes. Salary ranges and other compensation for each practitioner can depend on several different factors. This information is vital to making an informed decision and to staying competitive with other practices and institutions. We provide our clients with information particular to the Northeast market.

Q.Can I decide how to communicate with Diagnostics while they conduct their search for our PA or APRN?

A.Yes. Many clients prefer to communicate through email while some prefer to speak to us live. We adopt whatever method of communication is most preferable to your schedule and lifestyle.

Q.Will I personally meet with a Diagnostics representative?

A.Our interaction with clients can be done over the phone, via Skype, and through email while using fax and/or email to transmit documents. By communicating remotely, we're able to keep our pricing low. However, if it becomes necessary, Diagnostics can meet face-to-face with clients.

Finding Candidates

Q.How long will it take to find a candidate for my practice?

A.Although the length of time for each placement varies, the vast majority of our candidates are found and presented within 3 weeks from when we began working with a client.

Q.Does Diagnostics already have a candidate for my practice?

A.When we begin working with any client, our first goal is to find out their exact needs. Then we're able to more accurately assess if we’re already working with a candidate who would be a good fit.

Q.How many candidates will I be able to choose from?

A.Although our goal is to present your practice with as many candidates as possible, our primary concern is quality over quantity. We’ll keep presenting candidates until you're completely confident you've found the right PA or APRN.

Q.What if Diagnostics is unable to find a candidate for my practice or I'm just not satisfied with their services?

A.Diagnostics has a 95% success rate for finding our clients a PA or APRN for their practice. If for some reason we cannot find a suitable candidate in a reasonable period of time, any client is free to discontinue their relationship with us without any penalty or fee.

Q.Can Diagnostics find me a Part-Time PA or APRN?

A.Yes. We often work with clients to find them part-time and per diem candidates for weekends, nights, as well as normal operating hours. Please inquire regarding fee structures for these candidates.

Q.Can Diagnostics find a Physician or Nurse for my practice?

A.We can recommend very reputable partner firms that can help clients find a Physician, Nurse, or other medical staff for their practice.

Fees and Contract Agreement

Q.As a client, will I have to pay any upfront retaining fees?

A.No. As a client, you'll never pay retaining fees or any other kind of upfront fees.

Q.How much will it cost to find a PA or APRN for my practice?

A.Diagnostics does not bill clients in the same manner as typical "recruitment" firms or agencies. Our pricing structure is based strictly on a low, predictable, flat fee and not on the percentage of the candidate's 1st year salary.

Q.Is the Diagnostics “Client Agreement” long and complex?

A.Not at all. In fact, the agreement between us and our clients fits onto one single page and is very easy to read and understand.

Q.If I become a client, will I have to sign an exclusivity clause?

A.No. Unlike other recruiting firms, Diagnostics does not enter into exclusivity with our clients.

General Questions

Q.What is the success rate of Diagnostics?

A.Diagnostics has a 95% success rate when finding either a PA or APRN for our clients.

Q.If I hire a PA or APRN through Diagnostics, is that practitioner an employee of my practice or Diagnostics?

A.If you hire a PA or APRN through Diagnostics, that practitioner is exclusively employed by you and your practice alone.

Q.Does Diagnostics find PAs and APRNs for Hospitals and Larger Medical Practices?

A.Yes. Hospitals and Larger Medical Practices usually experience more turnover than a Sole Practitioner's office. We're able to augment the efforts of these larger institutions and their professionals so they can achieve the same fast and efficient results we're able to deliver to our Sole Practitioner clients.
